Katie Dixon joined our practice in April 2018. She uses an integrative approach to therapy and tailors treatment to meet the specific needs of each client. Katie draws from family systems, cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches and is also trained in hypnotherapy. Above all, Katie believes her primary role as a counselor is to partner with clients in identifying their personal strengths in order to work through the challenges that keep them from living their most fulfilling lives. She has experience working with a variety of issues such as trauma and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, addictions, phobias and compulsive behaviors. Katie specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and families.
